Sea Pine Cottage vista-room with LX521 loudspeakers

The room was added to our Sea Pine Cottage at The Sea Ranch as part of a remodel. It has the maximum volume and floor size that was permitted. I had wished for greater height and greater distance to the wall behind the listening position. As it turned out the LX521 performs to great satisfaction in this room. Compared to the CM living room the auditory scene feels more intimate. Speakers and room disappear and the tonal balance is the same as in the larger room. Bass frequencies are powerful but maybe not quite as much as in CM. I need to spend more time listening to a variety of music. So far the watched many movies on the tV screen that can be placed between the speakers. I am often amazed by the realism of the venue sounds and the acoustic atmosphere in movies. It will be interesting to analyze the room data and compare them to the CM living room.

4) - Interpretation of Data

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself
but what has drawn your attention
in the streams of superimposed air pressure variations
at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space
Have they been recorded and rendered sensibly?
