Burning Amp 2015

The LXstudio system driven by Frank Brenner's PowerBox 4180 plus two Hypex UcD 400 amps for the dipole woofers

The Linkwitz Lair was only 12 feet by 18 feet in size but the sound was truly impressive. Lyman Miller front center.

My wife Eike - Dr. Frank Brenner, Lufthansa A380 captain and man behind LINKWITZ.store on his flight overlay day - and me, SL

As always, Burning Amp presents a great opportunity for meetings between interesting people like here between Dave (Google) , Jack Vad (Audio Producer, SF Symphony) and Eric (Uber)

Besides the exhibits and presentations the amplifier and speaker parts raffle at the end of the day is always a big attraction

Mark Cronander (Variac) - the organizer of the Burning Amp event - has a youngster draw the winning tickets

The number is ...

And here is the item you wanted ...

Time to pack up in the Pass Labs room

Nelson Pass has help carrying his boxes to elevator and car

Charlie Laub, potentially next year's Burning Amp organizer since Mark Cronander is moving to Costa Rica

After a one year's interruption Burning Amp 2015 was back in great form due to Mark's and his helpers tireless efforts. Silicon Valley's Interana software company generously gave us the use of their headquarters for the weekend. The only stipulation was that the exhibitors and visitors (250+) leave no trace and all rooms were like we found them on arrival. A big 'Thank You' to all.

Jason Victor Serinus from stereophile could nor attend but wrote this beforehand.

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself
but what has drawn your attention
in the streams of superimposed air pressure variations
at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space
Have they been recorded and rendered sensibly?
